Glasdon have launched a new addition to the popular Glasdon Jubilee™ litter bin range. A solution designed to meet some of the on-street waste management challenges faced by local authorities and operators today.
The new Glasdon Jubilee™ 240 is a large capacity, polymer, wheelie bin housing designed for areas of high footfall and litter hotspots in urban, suburban, highway and tourist locations.
It provides secure cover for a standard 240 litre wheelie bin or alternatively up to 300 litre sack with the optional sack retention system.
Glasdon believe the attractive classical design of the housing together with the larger capacity, will provide a solution to help remove the sight of overflowing litter and reduce collection costs.
Townscapes, highway lay-bys and tourist attractions are often blighted by the sight of overflowing litter. A larger capacity bin may be the simplest solution to this and to providing a reduction in collection costs through less frequent emptying.

The operational aspect of the Glasdon Jubilee™ 240 also presents opportunities to improve operator safety. As a wheelie bin housing, mechanical emptying will reduce manual handling issues.
A larger recessed lifting handle has also been integrated into the front of the door to avoid the need for hands to go inside the housing apertures at all.
The Glasdon Jubilee™ 240 joins the Glasdon Jubilee™ 110 and Streamline Jubilee™ litter and recycling bin range.
