Glasdon Lights the Way

The Institute of Lighting Professionals (ILP) recently held their annual Professional Lighting Summit AGM and exhibition in the English town of Solihull and our sister company Glasdon UK, attended to demonstrate our ever-growing range of street lighting products.

Glasdon's dedicated team of highways lighting experts were on hand to walk existing and future customers through the latest additions to our range, the Ecolumino™ 1500 and Lumino City™ 750. These innovative sign lighting solutions conform to the highest standards in energy efficiency and effective illumination, and attracted plenty of attention.

One of the many visitors to our stand was Chris Hardy, Lighting Engineer at Bournemouth Borough Council in southern England, who said: "Bournemouth Council have recently replaced their entire stock of illuminated bollards as part of the drive to substantially reduce our energy budget with products that are both robust and offer long-term benefits.

"Where possible, the bollards have been removed completely. Essential installations have been replaced by non-illuminated bollards or LED-lit models as appropriate. Glasdon Rebound Signmaster™ and Rebound Signmaster LED Bollards have been used throughout the project because of the benefits they bring in cutting energy requirements and maintenance costs, as well as the overall quality of the product."
