F.A.Q

Where Do I Need A B-Line

B–Line Water Rescue Devices are lightweight and reusable – if the first throw doesn't reach its target, the B–Line can be quickly pulled back in and thrown again.

Traditional lifebuoys are excellent long–term buoyancy aids in situations where they don't need to be thrown significant distances – piers, sea walls and docks being prime examples. B–Line is better suited than a Lifebuoy to sites where throwing distance is a factor, such as beaches and lakes. It's also ideal for ice rescue.

The compact nature of the B–Line Water Rescue Device makes it perfect for carrying in emergency service vehicles, too. Police forces around the UK have issued B–Lines as part of standard safety equipment packages.
